Other services

I initially contacted Peter Bradford at Project PCs after he was so strongly recommended by a neighbour.
Prior to that time taking a PC to be repaired was as bad as going to the dentist. It was painful. Technicians seemed to be very difficult to communicate with, seemed to hate their work, and seemed to take out their resentment on the customer with sullen service and cryptic remarks. I couldn't speak their language and they couldn't speak mine. I felt stupid and on occasions was treated that way.
So when my neighbour described Peter as having very reasonable rates, being easy to relate to and very accommodating I made another appointment at the dentist - I mean with Project PCs - and hoped that this time getting my computer going again would not be as painful.
That was almost a decade ago.
I live close to the ocean and using computers at work and at home means I have up to three computers in use at any one time. Peter repairs them when the sea air corrodes video cards, RAM, mother boards and power supply.
I only learned these terms from my interactions with Project PCs. Now I am not so stupid. Peter explains everything he does in english - as opposed to techno speak - and shows great patience in repeating his explanations.
He not only fixes the problem, he researches future action for me to take to reduce the re-occurrence of problems.
The other totally refreshing experience I had with Project PCs was Peter's ability to respond to an emergency. On occasions when I have really needed a computer going again quickly, Peter managed it - sometimes within 24hrs. This was so unlike the normal weeks of waiting which I was used to.
If you are looking for a computer service to fix your computer, to give you some suggestions about future management of your computing use, a person you can relate to, who clearly loves his work and who does not treat you like a techno moron, I can definitely recommend Peter Bradford and Project PCs.
